Artist Statement
Susan’s paintings and collages exhibit the intersection of intuition and measured thought. Through color and figurative painting, she seeks to reflect emotion in each piece. Her current passion is multilayered abstracts that tempt the viewer to linger and find the natural world and figurative elements incorporated in her work. In addition to her self-generated pieces, Susan enjoys working with clients to create custom artwork integrating client-inspired colors and themes. These items provide the base on which to create a personalized, multilayered, emotive abstract painting.
